Cosmety has obtained SA8000 certification

The SA8000 certification is provided to companies that have undergone external audit to ensure that the organization guarantees socially acceptable practices in the workplace. As such, the company can clearly prove that it does not engage in practices that may be injurious to the health and well-being of its employees and by extension to society as a whole.

Some of the practices frowned upon by the SA8000 standard include child labour, forced or compulsory labour, the elimination of association or the right to collective bargaining, discrimination, unfair working hours, and others.

Basically, the SA8000 certification is awarded to firms like Cosmety that seek to integrate business processes into their operations that foster goodwill among professionals and set a path toward a better social future for everyone involved.
